Build Your Own Opportunity

VTG isn’t hiring for a job — we’re looking for independent, driven people ready to build something for themselves at the country’s most exciting events.

Build Your Opportunity

What You'll Do

As an independent contractor with VTG, you’ll work live events across the country — golf tournaments, festivals, sporting events, and more — connecting with people and helping them say yes to their next vacation. Every event is different, every day brings something new, and your effort directly drives your results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I an Employee or an Independent Contractor?

All are hired as 1099 Independent Contractors. This provides you with ultimate flexibility and control over how, when, and where you work, operating as your own business entity while leveraging our brand and resources. As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for handling your own tax withholdings.

How Often Are Commissions Paid Out?

We pay weekly. Every week, your earned commissions for qualified deals are processed and disbursed. Because you operate on a 1099 status, your payouts are issued gross without tax deductions.

Commission percentages fluctuate across our teams based on the total operational support and overhead invested in each program. Teams that require higher expenditure—such as specialized clothing, premium event costs, or higher gross sales expectations yield significantly higher commission percentages per deal.

How Does Travel Factor Into My Commission Rates?

Travel costs directly influence our commission tiers—the more corporate overhead required to support your travel, the lower the base commission rate, while self-funded or higher-revenue teams yield maximum commission percentages.

What Happens if a Customer Returns a Package or Cancels an Order?

Different teams and product lines have specific procedures for handling returned packages and cancelled orders. In general, if a package is returned undelivered or refunded by the customer, a commission chargeback or adjustment may be applied to your weekly payout in accordance with your specific team’s commission agreement. Detailed guidelines for handling returns will be provided during team onboarding.
